What system is the liver in?
*the liver includes the digestive system.
*the liver is responsible for metabolizing (turning) carbohydrate,lipids and proteins into biologically useful materials.
Where is the liver located?
*The liver is located in the upper right-hand part of your abdominal cavity,protected by your ribs. *It is situated beneath your diaphragm and on top of your stomach.
How big is the liver?
*the liver is the second largest organ in your body
*the size of your liver depends on your age. If you are a girl your liver is aproxemetly 7cm and if you are a boy your liver is about 10.5cm.
Why do you need the liver?
*You need the liver because without the liver the other organs in your body will get poisoned and then the liver isn't there to filter the toxins.
Now you know that the liver are very important because they filter toxins!!!!!
