HOW COMMON IS LIVER CANCER?

  • Liver cancer affects 1 in 81 men.
  • It affects 1 in 196 women.
  • More than 700,000 people are diagnosed with it each year

GROUPS LIKELY TO GET LIVER CANCER

  • Men are more likely to get liver cancer than women.
  • 95% of people who are affected by liver cancer are over the age of 45.
  • The average age for liver cancer is 63 years old.

SYMPTOMS

  • Weight loss
  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • An enlarged liver
  • An enlarged spleen
