The Jumano people raised beans, corn, and squash among other things. They also gathered piñon nuts, mesquite beans, prickly pear cactus, and agave bulbs. They hunted rabbet, buffalo, and deer, too.

Jumano tribes learned to make there selves clothes. The moccasins that where worn by the men in this tribe where made from good quality deer hide.
