FOREST

  • This biome has 4 changing seasons including spring,winter,fall,and summer.
  • All the animals in the forest have to adapt to the changing weather.
  • Trees and plants in the forest have special adaptations, like leaves that change during each season
  • The average precipitation is 30- 60 inches.
  • The average temperature in the forest is 50oF while summers are mild and winter is usually below freezing.

GRASSLANDS

  • The temperature in this biome is cold winters,and really hot summers with temperatures reaching up to 100oF.
  • The yearly average of precipitation is 25-35 inches of rain.
  • Trees and shrubs are rarely found in grassland areas, but there are many types of grasses.
  • The dominant animals are plant eating animals(herbivores)

MARSHES

  • Marshes provide a habitat for animals and plants that have adopted to flooded conditions.
  • Could not find more information.

EROSION AND WEATHERING

  • Weathering happens when air,wind,ice erodes or destroys the rock.
  • This is an example of weathering it's been there for a long time and it's eroding.

POND AND DATA

  • The water temperatures are 18.7 c on Monday and 13.9 c on Tuesday.
  • The air temperature on Monday was 24 c and Tuesday was 10c.
  • The turbidity on Monday was 31.2 and on Tuesday was 29.
  • The Ph on Monday was 7 and on Tuesday it was 7.

PHOTOTROPISM

  • Phototropism is when plants grow towards the sunlight.
  • The tree in the back ground is growing sideways to try to get more light.

HYDROTROPISM

  • Hydrotropism is when the roots of a plant grow towards the water.
  • The roots are growing to the water so the tree can get more water.
