OBJECTIVES

  • 1. Characterize the enzymatic content with GO annotation of:
  • Loa loa and Litomosoides sigmodontis using bioinformatics
  • 2. Compare the enzymatic annotation of L. loa with L. Sigmodontis.
  • 3. Analyze a fraction of the gene ontology of the proteome of:
  • L. loa in terms of their function, excluding all the putatives.

METHODOLOGY

  • Use of emerging and existing computational tools:
  • BLAST2GO: Functional annotation and analyses
  • of gene or proteins sequences.
  • GALAXY Project: Open web based platform for
  • accesible computational biomedical research.
