Animals raised in pastures in local farms are healthier for humans
-"Animals raised in pastures contain less fat because they get more exercise"
-Animals that eat green grass are healthier for humans because green grass has large quantities of beta-carotene, vitamin E, and folic acid which is natural chemicals that are important for a healthy diet

The local food chain is good for the environment
-Joel Salatin sells his food locally and only ships to local restaurants to not burn fossil fuels
-"Locally sourced food, by definition, travels fewer miles from its source to its destination than non-local food."

Some may say industrial food is quick and convenient.
It is not so much quick and convenient because "in the industrial food chain, the typical item of food travels 1,500 miles before it is eaten."
