Ex: Some one hates a book, before they read it, because they hate the author.

It asserts a proposition is true because it has not been proven false
Ex: since the class has no questions concerning the topics discussed
the class is ready for the test

DOGMATISM
Asserting that your option is the only of rational point of view

Emotion is substituted for reason and attempt is made to indicate logically
why what your arguing for should be accepted
Ex: We shouldn't go to school today; I'm happy staying home.
