History
London is almost 2000 years old. The first traces of people who have lived in London exists in the form of Paleolithic flint stones and axes from the Mesolithic. These objects are in different parts of London found. They are probably left by passers-by, who were hunting and fishing along the Thames.

Royal House
Queen Elizabeth II this is the Queen of England. She was born on 21 april 1926 as Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor. Her parents were King George VI (1895-1952) and Queen Elizabeth (1926-2002), then the Duke and Duchess of York. They also had another sister: Princess Margaret (1930-2002).

In England they have other laws here in Netherlands when it comes to who has the throne may mount if the current King or Queen resigns or dies. Just like in Netherlands is the oldest child King or Queen, but ... In England go guys for. The eldest son of a King is always King even if he has older sisters. A woman is King when she doesn't have brothers.

  • London Eye The London Eye is a Ferris wheel in London. He is 135 metres high. And it weighs 1,700 tons. Tower of London The Tower of London, which is usually the word Tower is a building in London, which to the River Thames.

  • Big ben Big Ben is the nickname of the great clock in London. It is a loud clock and a stroke clock. The clock is one of the toughest in the world. Tower bridge The Tower Bridge in 1894 made the bridge over the River Thames in London. He is next to the Tower of London.

  • In London they eat often an English breakfast, those are with beans, fried eggs and bacon. At the breakfast they drink black tea with milk.

  • When you're 21 is it a big party because you adult. You get the key of the house as symbol. Al of the birthday cards from the years become in the livingroom.

Education is from ages 5 to 16. Students can continue theur studies for 2 years. There are so many schools in London, more then 30 schools. There also private schools in London. There schools for children of 3 to 11 year and schools voor 11+
