Black people that lived in africville used to live in Halifax. and All of the black people came here to settle in africville in 1885

Life was very hard for the black loyalists in Africville.

The black people in africville had to give their homes for a new crossing bridge in Halifax, and then africville was demolished

The loyalists ended up splitting into two groups


In 1791 they divided into two groups, under Canada and upper Canada, so they could keep their religion and languages and way of life

Who was Joseph brant?

He was born in Ohio and he was a Mohawk leader and he was apart of the First Nations and he took a war agents the British.

What did Joseph brant want to do?

HE WANTS TO FIGHT WITH THE BRITISH AGENST THE AMERICANS

How did he get what he wanted? 🤔

HE SAILD TO ENGLAND AND TOLD THE KING THE MOHAKS HAD ALL ON ACCUAISONS SHOWN THERE
