About lsd

  • lysergic acid diethylamide
  • Created in 1938 by Albert Hofmann 
  • Found in a fungus that grows on grains
  • Taken orally
  • Tablets, capsules, liquid, absorbant paper

Psychological Effects

  • it binds to all dopamine, adrenal and most serotonin receptors
  • This causes the physical effects
  • Psychadelic Effects:
  • Shifting objects and hallucinations
  • Loss of sense of ones self and loss of sense of time

Mental Effects

  • Depends on the dosage, state of mind, experience
  • Feeling several emotions at once
  • Rapid emotion swings
  • Delusions and hallucinations  
  • Sense of eurphoria

Physical Effects

  • Dilated pupils
  • higher or lower body temperature
  • sweating or chills
  • sleeplessness
  • dry mouth 

"Trips"

  • 100 to 300 micrograms
  • Last 6 - 14 hours
