His education came from his father and every time he would stop or stutter his father would whip him or would be in the basement for awhile

That after his brother died he ended up adopting his nefew he went through many court battles to be able to adopt his nefew
He often dipped his head in to cold water before composing
He died in a thunderstorm of age 56
His first performance was I Burgtheater in Veinna in April 1800
