Beethoven died when he was 56 because of post-hepatic cirrhosis of the liver in Vienna, Austria. He was buried in the The Vienna Central Cemetery on March 29th, 1827.

BEETHOVEN’S SCHOOLING
Beethoven attended the University of Bonn in Germany. He studied music here, and left Bonn University when he was 22.
Beethoven’s dad saw Beethoven’s musical talent when he was just a kid. His dad made sure that he received a solid musical education.

Beethoven first performed publicly when he was only 8 years old.
Some of his greatest compositions were written when he was going deaf.
No one knows the exact date he was born, but he was baptized on December 17, 1770.
He was most likely born on December 16, 1770, because babies had to be baptized within 24 hours of their birth.
The movie “Beethoven” was based on Ludwig Van Beethoven.

Johann Van Beethoven, Beethoven’s father, was an alcoholic who beat Beethoven into practicing music.
Beethoven’s father pulled his son out of school when he was only 10 years old.
