LYME DISEASE OVERVIEW
- Lyme disease, originally discovered in Lyme, Connecticut, is a disease transmitted through deer ticks. People with Lyme disease go through extreme pain in treatment and joint pain
Lyme disease (formally called borreliosis) is transmitted through a deer tick bite, and causes fatigue, flu like symptoms, and leaves a rash that looks like a bullseye.
Lyme Disease is common, with more than 2 million US cases per year. It’s treatable by a medical professional, but requires a diagnosis and lab screenings.
Lyme disease affects the nervous system, and the main side affect us extreme joint pain.
Diagnosis:
Lyme disease has to be treated by a medical professional with a series of injections, but they are very severe and indescribably painful
