  • There are four species of Lynx.
  • Lynx live alone or in small groups.
  • Lynx breed in the late winters or early springs.
  • Lynx are known for good eyesight.
  • For that reason sharp-eyed people are often called Lynx-eyed.

ANIMAL DESCRIPTION

  • The Canadian Lynx is larger with longer hair and often lacks spots.
  • The Bobcat is smaller than the Canadian Lynx and the Eurasian Lynx but it's about twice as larger as a domestic cat.
  • The Eurarsian Lynx is a medium cat that is yellowish-gray to grayish-brown with white underparts.
  • The Iberian Lynx is a grayish with tints varying from yellowish to rusty and is distinctly spotted. Also they have long hind legs with a short black tipped tail.

ANIMAL HABITAT

  • Lynx live in forests,especially pine trees.
  • The Eurasian Lynx lives in Asia and Europe.
  • The Canadian Lynx lives in the North America
  • The Iberian Lynx lives in Spain and Portugal.
