Act 4 Scene 1
-Witches are chanting and brewing
-MacBeth enters
-Asks to have prophecies told to him
-Floating head warns him of MacDuff

-Bloody child appears next
-Says no one born of woman can kill MacBeth
-A crowned child appears
-Says Macbeth is fine until Birnam Wood moves to Dunsinane Hill

-Finally, procession of Eight Kings walks by, last holding a mirror
-Banquo's ghost is at the end
-MacBeth demands to know the meaning
-Witches disappear

-Lennox enters
-Tells MacBeth that MacDuff has fled to England
-Decides to send murderers to capture his castle and kill his family

Act 4 Scene 2 (MacDuffs Castle)
-Lady MacDuff confronts Ross wanting to know why her husband ran away
-Ross says trust MacDuff
-Ross Leaves

-Lady MacDuff tells her son his dad is dead
-Son says hes not dead
-Messanger runs in
-Tells Lady MacDuff shes in danger; urges her to leave
-Lady MacDuff says no

-Murderers enter
-Denounces MacDuff
-Son calls Murderers a liar
-Son Stabbed to death by murderers
-LadyMacduff runs, chase Ensues

Act 4 Scene 3
-Malcom Speaks to MacDuff
-Says he doesn't trust him and thinks he may be working for MacBeth
-To detirmine if he can trust, rambles about his own vices

-Wonders if he is fit to be king being lustful, greedy and violent
-Macduff disagrees, remembers Scottland, then agrees he can't be king or even live
-MacDuff passed loyalty test

-Malcom tells that those were lies, accepts MacDuff as ally
- The Doctor Enters
-Says a "crew of wretched souls" wait on King Edward so they may be cured

-Malcom explains King Edward can heal people
-Ross enters
-Tells MacDuff wife and kids are well
-Urges Malcom to return, that MacBeth has put the country in disarray

-Malcom says he'll return with 10,000 soldiers
-Ross Breaks down
-Tells MacDuff his family is dead
-MacDuff tells Ross to turn grief to anger, he will get revenge

-These are iconic lines from the play
-shows belief and perfect example of superstition
-Tis true because they're making a potion to cast a spell

"How now you secret, black and Midnight hags! What is't you do?"

MacBeth's attitude toward the witches changes through out the play. This is an example of dialogue between two characters.
