• Macbeth fights and defeats rebel commander

• Witches wait for macbeth to come
• "Pleasant is foul, and foul is pleasant"

Macbeth and banqao run into witches and they tell them their future about how Macbeth will be the new thane of Cawdor and king while banqao will be father of kings.

Messenger comes after the witches leave and announce he is the thane of cawdor

Macbeth writes letter to lady Macbeth telling her about the witches and his new title

Lady Macbeth tells him that he doesn't have the guts to go through killing to king

Messenger tells lady Macbeth that the king is coming to their home today and she is mad cause she wasn't prepared

She greets the king in a pleasant way even though she plans to kill him

At dinner lady Macbeth shows her true colors when she tells Macbeth "if I say something I'll go through with it like bashing a babies head in"

They both plan how they are going to kill king Duncan

Macbeth finally decides that he is going to do it because lady Macbeth can't because he looks to much like her father

Lady Macbeth drugged the guards that stood outside the doors

Macbeth took the daggers off of the passed out guards

He quietly sneaks in the dark room as he hears sounds of prayer and people yelling murder

He stabs king Duncan multiple times as he covers his mouth so he doesn't scream

He's in so much shock he forgets to plant the dagger so lady Macbeth has to do it and orders him to get in his night clothes
