A new study shows that the ocean is absorbing heat 2x as much as it did only 2 decades ago. Ocean heating contributes to many changes including coral bleaching and sea level rising. 35% of ocean heat resides at a depth of 700m.

I chose this article because the ocean has always interesting to me. I've actually never heard of ocean heating until i read this article. I think that ocean heating will keep increasing, but the outcome of it is unknown.
