I'm a junior from Tekamah, NE. Tekamah is a small town of 1,800. My graduating class was 37. Everyone knows everyone. This photo is the view from my grandma's house along the Missouri River.

I have two older sisters and an older brother. I come from a farming and hunting family. My mom and dad have been happily married for 33 years! My oldest sister, Lyndsay, was married last September. My other sister, Shannon, will be graduating from nursing school in December. My brother, Kyle, is a senior here at UNL where he studies agricultural engineering. I have an 8-year-old nephew that is my world! He is such a bright kid and I love spending time with him.

I'm obsessed with dogs. I have a 4-year-old Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu. She's the princess of our house!

Kappa Kappa Gamma and Husker football are my favorite things about college! Kappa has inspired me to be a better version of myself everyday.

This guy is a huge part of my life! We've been together 7 years. This is a picture of us on vacation this summer in Waubay, SD. My family goes on a fishing trip every summer.

I have a passion to teach. Along with my elementary education major, I'm also majoring in special education. I absolutely love teaching inside and outside of the classroom. I teach private swim lessons to several children during the summer. I also nanny, which provides with me many opportunities to teach. I can't wait to get back in the classroom!
