CARBOHYDRATES

  • Carbohydrates can be both starches and sugars.
  • Carbohydrates are used as energy in plants, and in foods.
  • Carbohydrates are In breads, and even in plants as sugars called glucose

  • Lipids are fats and can be broken down of energy
  • They are fats, oils, waxes, and hormones.
  • They are in both male and female sex hormones

PROTEINS

  • Proteins make up amino acids
  • They make up the main components of feathers, skin, and muscles
  • Amino acids are linked by a peptide bond for this reason a chain of an amino acid is called polypeptide.

NUCLEIC ACIDS

  • They carry genetic information
  • They also carry molecules of inheritance
  • Foe example they carry DNA
