WHAT IS MAD COW DISEASE?
- A Brian disease that affects cattle
- It affects the cow's nervous system
- The cow loses control of doing normal things such as being able to walk.
HOW DO HUMANS GET IT?
- People don't actually get BSE
- Researchers believe that people get a disease similar to mad cow disease
- This disease is called vCJD
- You can get this disease from meat that was from a cow with mad cow disease

- Anyone who eats meat from a cow who has had mad cow disease
