MADHAV SUBRMANIAN

HE'S A THIRTEEN YEAR OLD BOY FROM INDIA.

Being so young, he hasn't had much educational training, nor an occupation.

His interest in tigers started when he was two, seeing one in the zoo, he fell in love.

When he found out that they were endangered he wanted to act immediately.

At age six he started "Kids for Tigers". Raising money to donate to the welfare of tigers

One way he earned money is by doing odd jobs around his neighborhood.

He also began drawing tigers and other jungle creatures that have been turned into mugs and quilts.

Two years ago he was named as one of the 50 people who can save the planet by The Guardian.

He fits in with our study because he wants to reduce the carbon footprint by making changes in his life and help others to do the same

Some ways we can help is by raising funds and support wildlife initiatives.

Other ways can be to volunteer with wildlife organizations, start campaigns or undertake simple and fun fundraising activities such as conducting tiger walks.
