Making a difference.....now and for the long term

Published on Jan 05, 2016

Our Response to Ofsted that ensures learners are safe, well behaved and in a happy environment that is underpinned by consistent systems, excellent lessons and a curriculum which is ambitious and where appropriate adapted for success. We want to ensure this is a school that teachers want to teach in, students want to learn in and that is an integral part of the community.

We want to ensure this is a school that teachers want to teach in AND students want to learn in.

What does this mean?

  • Systems, structures and consistency.
  • A clear curriculum rationale, adapted and ambitious for learner success.
  • Normalising a new culture. everyone understanding their part in the project.
  • making reading normalised.
  • Teaching and learning systems which show commonality that supports the culture yet which does not stem creativity.
