Making Mexican rice

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Rice
  • Corn oil
  • Tomato and chicken bullion
  • Garlic
  • Water
  • Canola or corn oil

TOOLS

  • Sauté pan with lid
  • Wooden spoon
  • Knife
  • Blender
  • Spoon

1. Cut the onions, tomatoes, and garlic.

2. Put the onion, garlic, and tomatoes then pour water in the blender.

3. Add the chicken and tomato bullion into the blender and set aside.

4. Place the pan and turn on the heat and pour in the corn oil. It should be able to cover the whole pan.

5. Pour the rice and stir it for a while.

6. Go back to the blender and let it blend for a minute and place it near the pan.

7. Stir the rice til its browned but not fully brown.

8. Pour the mixture and place the lid.

9. Finally taste the liquid for the desire of more salt and then let it boil for 20 minutes.
