• It's saliva travels through your blood stream

CURE

• There is no complete cure

TREATMENTS

• Mefloquine, doxycycline
• Commonly used medication to help prevent
• Drugs against fever are used
• Don't always work

SYMPTOMS

• Headache, fever, shivering
• Joint pain, vomiting, hemolytic anemia
• Jaundice, hemoglobin in urine
• Spleen enlargement, sweating
• Retinal damage, and convulsions
