  • They use subways in malaysia
  • In the middle of the train, is a space
  • So that the bar that it glides on can go in the middle

  • Malaysia has cars just like we do including...
  • Taxies, semi trucks, cars and pick up trucks.
  • Malaysia has more high tech vehicles than we do in the city.

  • Alot of people in Malaysia use these.
  • They are bikes in front, and seats in the back
  • And basically the seat is connected to the bike and the ride aroud

REGION #1

  • Cameron highlands is one of Malaysia's most extensive hill stations.
  • Cameron highlands is the size of singapore, and occupies up to 275 sq. Miles.
  • To the north, its border touches Kelantan
  • And to the West, it shares part of its border with Perek

REGION #2

  • Malaysia is the home to the petronas twin towers in their capital,
  • Kuala Lumpar. They are currently the tallest twin towers in the world.
  • Tower number 1 is used for the oil and gas company Petronas,
  • And tower number 2 is currently being used for offices and other corporations
  • And companies

KUALA LUMPAR'S LONGITUDE/LATITUDE IS 3 DEGREES NORTH AND 102 EAST

HUMAN ENVIORMENTAL INTERACTION

  • Heavy mining in peninsular Malaysia has made a big impact on
  • The enviornment. It has caused deforestation, the pollution of rivers which has
  • Lead to agricultural losses, and new building of roads witch also leads to
  • New colonization.

HUMAN ENVIRONMENTAL INTERACTION

  • The enviorment of malaysia has a special tree
  • That gives off rubber oil so that they can drain the tree,
  • get the oils, and sell them to a company or make the rubber themselves

HUMAN ENVIRONMENTAL INTERACTION

  • People in malasia cut down oil palm trees so the can get the oil
  • and sell it for money. They also make things out of the palm oil and from
  • The bark of the tree. This is how some people make money from valuable oils

LOCATION:ABSOLUTE

  • The absolute location of malaysia
  • Is 4 degrees north and 103 degrees east
  • 4 degrees is an exact line of latitude,
  • But 103 degrees is not an exact latitude line

  • Malaysia is south-west of the phillipines
  • If you look at a map of Malaysia, you can see that
  • The phillipines are small islands and are up in
  • The top of the corner right above Indonesia

PLACE: CULTURAL

  • My cultural characteristic is the Kuala Lumbar Building.
  • Located in Kuala Lumbar is the 15th tallest standing building
  • In the world. This building was finished on March 1st 1995
  • And is used for comunication purposes.

PLACE:PHYSICAL

  • My physical characteristic is Mount Kimbalu.
  • Mount Kimbalu is the tallest mountain range in Malaysia
  • This mountain is a prominant mountain on the island of
  • Borneo in southeast asia.

HISTORY

  • Malaysia was once a trading junction.
  • Malaysia was the ideal trading center for the
  • Early east-west trading.
  • Malaysias strategic sea path brought foreign trade
  • to the country from all over.

ARTS

  • Malaysia makes very multi ethnic and colorful
  • Art. Their music is mostly malay music, meaning
  • Malaysian music. Malay music mostly consists of
  • percussion instruments, and there are at least
  • 14 types of drums.

RELIGION

  • The malaysian religion mostly consists of Islams
  • But also includes hinduism and buddhism.
  • Politics often become entwined with religion.
  • Because they are still trying to figure out if
  • They should be an islamic state.

DAILY LIFE

  • Most people live in villages and rural areas.
  • They build houses on stilts, but the wealthier people
  • Get wooden floors and tile roofs and the poor people get
  • Thatched roofs.

LANGUAGE

  • In malaysia they speak astroneseann
  • Witch is also spoken in thailand, Singapore and
  • Indonesia. Almost everyone in malaysia speaks
  • This language as it is very common there

ECONEMY

  • Malaysia's economy is quickly growing.
  • They are also adding a scope so intrest rates will rise.
  • Malaysia is also the first in southeast asia to raise its benchmark rate in 2014
  • Gross domestic product has rose 6.4% in the three months through june.

GOVENMENT

  • The country Malaysia is a Constitutional Monarchy
  • They are also governed under the constitution of 1957
  • As was ammended.
  • The prime minister is head of government and must be a member
  • And have the confidenceof the house of representative.

SOCIAL GROUPS

  • Alot of people in malaysia like to get together and play malay music
  • Most Malaysians like to stay healthy and exersise daily with each other
  • They also have country clubs and golfing
