GEOGRAPHY

- Much cleaner than the Nile, the Niger stretches 4,180km.
- It is a tropical country with parts of it stretching across the Sahara Sahel.
- It stretches all the way from Koumbi Saleb to Timbuktu.
- It is mostly dry with only 4-5 months of rainy season.
