Shipwrecks were caused when they put a new lighthouse up on Mana
island people were confused with the wellington lighthouse and the one on Mana island

In the early 1830s ocupation was on whailing

set minds on farming in the 1830s they set up a sheep farm

In 1990 Mice rodents on the island were being executed so more birds could enter the island
