4.
INFORMATION
In 2004 a very large eruption caused the whole island to evacuate.
This volcano is one of the longest records of historic eruptions.
The first known eruption was in 1616.
The last eruption was December 2014 - August 2015
The volcano is on the Northeast side of Papua New Quinea.
5.
HAZARDS AND RISKS
When it has a big eruption it destroys crops, livestock, plants, grass, and it would effect the airlines.
There would be a risk for the people that live there because they would lose a lot of farm land, and crops.
6.
CONCLUSION
I don't think that there will be another major eruption because it is constantly erupting.
There is no certain amount of time in between the major eruptions.
