Jeffery Lionel Magee. Jeffrey is an orphan who once lived with his Aunt Dot and Uncle Dan. He lived with them for eight years until he ran away.It was during a school production when he ran away. On his journey he met a girl named Amanda Beale. He didn't get much of a chance to talk to him because she was on her way to school. After he begged her to let him borrow a book, she caved and gave him one.

This book seems really great. Even though I have only read five chapters, I really like this book. The storyline is amazing, along with the plot. It makes me want to read on and on. I would definitely recommend this book to someone else.
