  • The official animal is the Great Gray Owl.

  • Canada's money-maker is the Canadian Mint.
  • The Mint can produce about 15,000,000 coins a day.
  • The Canadian Mint is found in Winnipeg.

FUN FACTS!

  • The Prairie Crocus is actually called "Pasque flower".
  • The Prairie Crocus was voted as Manitoba's flower on March 16, 1906 by children.
  • Manitoba is a prairie province.

FIRST NATIONS.

  • The First Nations & Metis (Like, Ma-tee) go back hundreds of years.
  • The First Nations do cool dances.
  • The First Nations people are very important to Manitoba.

WHERE IS MANITOBA?

  • Manitoba is placed in between Saskatchewan + Ontario.
  • Manitoba's neighbour from above is Nunavut.
