SAFETY RULES

• Rules 1) where close toed shoes 2) always wear eye protection 3) makes sure you dont have loose clothing 4) tie back long hair 5) you should always use a push stick when using the table saw 6) no horse playing in the lab 7)ask your instucture if you are not sure of something 8) pay attention only to your work piece not with either when on the machine 9) listen to the instructure directions 10) always respect the people around you. 11) keep fingers away from moving parts

TABLESAW

• use a push stick also blades have to be 1/4 above the work piece Use spilter and pawls to prevent kickback Use outfeed extension when cutting long board Never use a rip fence when cutting cross cut Use the milter gauge for cross cut

MILTER SAW

• hold onto the wood before cutting then when you finish makes sure the blades stop before lifting up the blade

BANDSAW

• blade guard have to be 1/4 above the work piece 2 check the blade tension and tracking. 3 dont cut stock that is not flat. 4 keep a balanced stance at band saw 5 never clear small pieces while blade is moving 6 never ise your thumbs to push toward the blade. 7 never back out of a curve or cut while machine is running.

• Hand tools- dont hit yourself
• Glue-wipe off actess glue
• Screw/nails- make sure you dont cut yourself
