Get Real

  • Unskilled jobs are jobs that do not require special skills or proficency
  • Skilled jobs are jobs that require training and expertise.
  • Professional jobs are filled by those who hold a bachelor degree.
  • The roughly 150 million jobs in the U.S economy.

Check Your Gauges

  • In the 1960's their was 20% skilled and professionals  and 60% unskilled
  • Now there's 15% unskilled 20% professionals and 65% skilled
  • Only 21% of all jobs in 2016 will require a Bachelor Degree or more.
  • The remaining 79% of all jobs will require specific skills.

All Roads Lead To Success!

  • In the new new world of work you need to build skills to succeed.
  • Apprenticeship prepare a person for a trade.
  • Military service is an option you may choose after high school graduation.
