If you want to have success in your career, you need to make sure you:

Explore a variety of career paths and identify the best education for you

Unskilled, Skilled, Professional
Unskilled Jobs: No special skills/training
Skilled Jobs: Training/expertise in specific field
Professional Jobs: Bachelor degree or higher.

Hard Skills: The technical skills you need to do your job.
Soft Skills: The ability to get along with co-workers,
solve problems, and have a good attitude!

One growing job industry is Healthcare!
Some jobs in the Healthcare industry that require
under a year of education or training are:
Home Health Aides, Medical Transcriptionists, EMTs,
Med Assistants, Dental Assistants, Pharmacy Techs, and more!

Going green
California is going green and coming out with Hot
Green Job Industries, and some with opportunities are:
Advanced Biofuels, Geothermal Energy, Green Chemistry,
Green Manufacturing, Smart Grid, Solar Energy, Sustainable
Agriculture and more. All are different, but focus on the same thing.

Many directions/Crack your code/key insight
Holland has a code of personalities in the job market, and the six are:
Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional
Each group has something special about it, and does different things.
Each group will have different jobs in Holland and will act differently.
This means you have a variety of things to choose from.

Smart goals/hit your target
SMART goals are great because they are
Specific, Measurable, Action Packed, Realistic, and Time-Bound.
Each goal is used for different things, and SMART goals help stay
away from vague goals, and state exactly what you want to accomplish
so it is very clear and there is no going back.

road blocks
Once you have your SMART goals, you have to overcome
your newfound obstacles, or, ROAD blocks.
ROAD stands for: Results, Obstacles, Action, Develop Partnerships
If you follow SMART goals and ROAD blocks, what you want in the
future will be very clear and visible, and will help accomplish goals.
