  • He prayed the Memorare to Mary to spare his life
  • After that, he found a man and realized his life was saved.

  • Jean Babtiste was a 16 year old boy who was dying.
  • Marcellin went to visit Jean and noticed he had no knowledge of the faith.
  • Marcellin taught Jean everything he needed to know until sadly, Jean died.
  • This inspired Marcellin to educate all children who were poor about faith.
