PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Marco was born into a wealthy family, his dad Niccolo and uncle Maffeo were merchants. They were in China selling jewels.He never really saw his dad, because he was gone most of his childhood. Marco's mother passed away when he was child. He was raised by extended family.
When Marco turned 17, his father and uncle came back to Italy for a while. After that, they set off for China again, bringing Marco with them.
Marco stayed in Asia for more the 23 years, during those years, Marco was helping Emperor Khan with his government. Khan was impressed with Marco. He made Marco help with the government court. Marco became a governor for a Chinese city.
