He was born in 1254 in Venice, Italy.
He joined the navy.
His uncle's name is Maffeo.
His dad's name is Niccolo.
He died on January 8, 1324.

When he was 17, he traveled to Asia with his father and uncle to sell and trade goods.
He worked with the Emperor Kublai Khan for 17 years traveling in Asia.
He discovered new lands in Asia and became very rich.
