About Her:
Marie Sklodowska Curie was born in 1867.
Her nationality is Polish.
She graduated The University of Paris at 15.
Worked as a governess to support her sister for a while.
She is also known as the First Lady of Science.

Her contributions:
She coined the name for radioactivity.
She also discovered the elements polonium and radium.
She found that the harmful properties of x-rays helped kill tumors.
She successfully isolated pure radium and determined their atomic weight.

Recognition
She won two Nobel prizes, and was the first person to do so. One for her discovery of radioactivity,
