TREATMENTS

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-identifying beliefs & behaviors
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy-keep patient in control of situations
• Group sessions or alone
• Omega-3 fatty acids
• No medication directed towards BPD

• More common in women
• Can improve on own
• Encourage and show respect
• Be a support system at home
• Take suicide threats very seriously
