  • The right to marry whoever the individual (either man or women) desires and should not be limited to a race, residence, etc. While married or after divorce both have equal rights.

WHY IS IT INCLUDED?

  • Common ground on marriage for world
  • Doesn't limit people to marry on characteristics like themselves
  • Gives individuals freedom from forced incidences

  • Man forces woman to marry him
  • Clerk refuses to give marriage license
  • Biracial marriage was not allowed

  • Kentucky clerk refused to issue marriage license to same-sex couple

OUTCOME

  • Clerk sent to jail
  • Went to work a week later
  • Opened the eyes of the public of the human rights being broken
  • Riots
