  • Mars is one of the iner planets because it is located inside the asteroid belt.
  • It is the second smallest planet in the solar system
  • It takes Mars 1.88 earth years to orbit the sun.
  • Mars has weaker gravity than earth

Mars in know as the red planet. It gets its red from the iron in its soil. Mars has dark slope streaks and dust devil track. It also has sand dunes.

Mars was named after a very important God to Roman poeple. It was named after the God of war.

The temperature in Mars in winter is minus,197 degrees . A summer day in Mars is 70 degrees at night in can be minus 100

Mars has two moons their names are phobus and diemos.
