This is How We Get to School
The cafeteria is special to Martin City. To begin with, the bulldog on the wall is important because we are bulldogs.
Next, we have a walkway where we get our food and we have a lot of tables where we can eat our food. Then, we have a stage. The stage is where have our after school program.
The art room is very amazing to go to for specials. To begin with, we can paint after we color with crayons. Mrs. Winkler is the teacher and she teaches us how to make birdhouses. That is why our art room is so amazing to our school.
The library is a great place to read. First, we have many books.
Next, we can read in comfortable chairs. We enjoy going to the library.
The music room is very loud. First we listen to music.
Then we play instruments.
Then, we play on the Smartboard. After that, we get to switch centers. We have a great time in music.
This is Mrs. Ochean's gym. To begin with we play games so we can have a great time. Next, we have a big gym for assemblies. Last, middle school has their own side to play. Middle school also has their basketball and volleyball games in the gym. We are lucky to have a big gym.
We have a large playground at Martin City. To begin with, we have two playgrounds.
The first playground has four slides, monkey bars, and a dinosaur where you can hide.
The second playground has a pirate ship where you can pretend, slides, and swings. Other students play soccer or basketball on the blacktop. We like going outside for recess.
The counseling room is a place to go to solve problems. Mrs. Scott is our counselor. She helps kids and sometimes she gives kids tests.
This bench is very important to Martin City. The bench was given to the staff in 1996 for teacher appreciation week. It has many retried teachers names on the bench. It is part of our Martin City School history.
Our classroom is big. There are many books. We have a special place where you can read with our teacher Miss G.
I Pad Cart
We had to turn our computer lab into a classroom because we had so many students. Now each floor has its own i-pad cart to share.
The American flag is special to Martin City School. To begin with, everyday our school will say the pledge of allegiance. Next, by the American flag there is a bell. At the end of the year, teachers that are retiring ring the bell. That is why the American flag is special to our school.
