Great Beacon of Hope signifies the Great Amount of hope shared by all the African-American people that one day they will be free.

Impact of Allusion - The Allusion, "Great Beacon of hope," Stresses that when Abraham Lincoln signed the emancipation, all the black slaves had had hope for equal treatment in the U.S.

This Example of an Alliteration means that Americans live up to and try to follow how Abraham Lincoln acted and cared for other people.

Impact- This Alliteration showed us how Americans such as us tried to be more like Abraham Lincoln and consider all equal.
