WAS HE AN ONLY CHILD?

• When he was younger he lived with parents and grandparents👩🏾👨🏾👵🏾👴🏾
• He had 2 siblings👧🏾👦🏾
• Their names are Christine King and Alfred Williams King
• And his parents names are Reverend Martin Luther King Sr. and Alberta King

WHAT DID MARTIN DO IN HIS SPARE TIME?⌚️🤔

• His was taught to play the piano🎹🎼🎶
• He played football and baseball🏈⚾️
• He also was the news paper boy 🗞👦🏾

MARTIN STARTED TO NOTICE😳😔...

• When he was little he started to take notice that blacks and whites had differences.
• He started to notice that when he went to restaurants the blacks would sit in the back while the whites sat in the front.
• He even started to notice this when he went to the movies, the blacks would sit in the back and whites in the front.
• (This was depended on which part of America you was in. This law was called JimCrows law.)

MARTIN WAS HURT😞😭

• Martin went to the store with his dad to buy some shoes .
• And when they walked in the store the clerk told him and his dad they had to go to the back of the store because they didn't serve blacks in the front of the store.
• When they told them that , Martin and his dad left the store because they both seen that this was disrespectful treatment.
• MARTIN went home very upset and his mother notice that, and she told him that even thought you mad and angry you shouldn't show it, bc you are just as good as anybody else.

MARTIN SCHOOL LIFE📚

• At the age of 5 Martin started school at Yonge Street Elementary School in Atlanta.
• But you had to start school when you were 6 so Martin stoped school until he was 6.
• But when he went back to school, he went to David T. Howard Elementary school as well.

MARTIN SCHOOL LIFE CONTINUED📚...

• Also in Atlanta he attended Atlanta University Laboratory🔬School and Booker T. Washington High School.
• Martin scored so high on the Collage Entrance Exam at Booker T. High that he didn't formally finish high school, because he went to collage his junior year of high school😁🤓📚.

HIS ACCOMPLISHMENTS😁

• In 1948 Mr.King graduated from collage🎓
• In 1951 he graduated from the laboratory 🔬

MARTIN'S LIFE✨

• On June 18, 1953 Martin got married to Coretta Scott💍
• They eventually had 4 children together👶🏽

• In 1954, Martin moved to Montgomery,Alabama🐘 to preach🙏🏼at Dexter Avenue Baptist Church.

• In 1957 Martin formed The Southern Christian Leadership Conference was formed.
• (Side note, around this time was when Rosa Parks refused to get out of the sit,and Martin's house got bombed.)

• In 1962 Martin met with president John F. Kennedy to discuss the importance of civil rights.

• On August 28,1963 Martin gave his "I have a Dream" speech, and over 250,000 civil right supports attended🗣🎙📜

• In 1965 Mr.King and 3,200 people marched from Selma to Montgomery, and met with president Lyndon B Johnson and others about voting for blacks

MARTIN'S LIFE✨

• In 1968 Mr.King was assassinated in Memphis Tennessee by James Earl Ray.
• Almost 100,000 people from all over the world walked with king's coffin in the street.

• In 1986 President Ronald Regan declared Dr.King B-day🎂 a national holiday.

I SAY THAT TO SAY THIS....

HE WAS FAMOUS FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS..😁

• Martin was an inspiration to mostly blacks but everyone around the world.👩🏾👱🏻‍♀️👨🏾👱🏼👳🏽
• Martin never gave up on his dream💭,no matter how hard it was for him at the time⌚️

• He was famous because no matter how many time people tried to push him back or wanted him to fail, he never did.✊🏼✨💯
• He conquered his dream because as we see today everybody's (for the most part) gets along pretty well, so yea his dream was accomplished✨💯
