King Edward The apostle
King Edward was the ruler of the English from 975 to 978 after his father King Edgar died. After Edgar died the kingship for the leadership of the English was contested by Edward and his much younger half brother Ethelred the unready.
The citizens of then English had to decide who they wanted to be their king. Some chose Edgar while others chose Ethelred. after some time Edgar became the king of the English people for four years
The elders of the kingdom Elfhere and Ethelwine rebelled against Edward almost was close to starting a civil war but luckily it didn't. Edwards short reign was brought to an end by his murder at the corfè castle
His body was buried with a huge ceremony at a place called Shaftesbury alb bey in early 980 suggestedly with the good-riddance of his half brother Ethelred. He had a number of lives that were written for ages after his passing as he was announced as a martyr and reckoned a saint
He is today recognized as a saint in the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church, and the Anglican Communion and will always be remembered by many as Martyr and Saint king Edward.
Paul the apostle
Paul's original name was Saul of tarsus, and be was an apostle of the first century world that taught the gospel of Christ and was considered one of the most important ones
In the mid 30s to mid 50s he discovered many church's in Asia and Europe. fourteen of the twenty-seven books in the New Testament have been about Paul the apostle. He used his religion as a Roman and a Jew to his advantage to his ministry with Jews and Romans
Paul the apostle's feast days are January 25 (the conversation of paul)
and February 10 (feast of Saint Paul's shipwreck in Malta. He is a citizen of Tarsus the capital of the roman Provence. He proclaimed that he was Hebrew and had proceeded to Judaism
Paul was most likely born Inbetween the years of 5 BC and 5 AD. Paul thought of himself as as the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin a Hebrew of Hebrews. The bible tells little about Paul's family Paul's nephew, his sisters son is the only one that is mentioned in the New Testament
