PRESENTATION OUTLINE

MARY CARTER

BY LOGAN TODD

The story begins in a little town called Peterson Falls that lives a young girl named Macy Terra. She and her family lives about south from the courthouse on a isolated hill.

There used to live a girl there named Mary Carter. She doesn't live there anymore because of her high school prom sometime in the 1970's. Mary was straightening her hair in the bath tub. The scalding hair utensil burned her ear and she dropped it in the tub with her.

Thats not the story though. Macy had lived in that house for about a year now and it was her senior year in high school which was prom night. Macy was in her dress and ready to the have the best night of her life it all started in the bathroom when she was putting make-up on.

Then all of a sudden the lights above the sink began to flicker and then out they went. Macy was terrified and began to panic. Than a spark on the wick of a candle lit a small portion of the room. She heard a water like noise coming from the bath tub or should I a filling up kind of noise.

Then the mirror Macy was looking in began to write Mary Carter in the steam from the tub. Then in the blink of her frightened eyes they began to rearrange to spell Macy Terra.
A face appeared in the mirror with one burned ear.

The face in the mirror cried a loud depressed moan and vanished. Poor Macy Terra had fingers grab her from behind strangling her and she was thrown into the tub full of water. Mary then grabbed the straighter and threw it into the tub with Macy.

Macy then released a loud scream and then she was silent, dead. The room went back to normal and the tub began to drain again like it did 16 years ago. Mary then grabbed the perished Macy and threw her into the mirror and then followed her in the mirror.

They say on every senior prom night after everybody goes home you can see Macy Terra dancing with her dress on and her make up, but the only thing she didn't have was straight hair.

So I guess poor Macy Terra got the night of her life at every senior years prom.
