INTRODUCTION

  • Born in 1719 in Philadelphia, PA
  • Died in 1810
  • Had 5 boys & 1 girl

HER INFLUENCE

  • Unable to join the Patriot Army
  • So she decided to help the Continental Army/ The Patriots
  • She gave them food
  • Healed wounded soldiers

HER INFLUENCE (CONTINUED)

  • Used cloth to make coats for the Colonial soldiers
  • Took old clothing and made into clothes for the soldiers
  • Melted down heirlooms and made them into bullets
  • Also gave them other ammunition

CONCLUSION

  • Died in 1810
  • 92 years old
  • She was very helpful to the Patriots
  • She had a big impact on the American Revolution
