THREE OPINIONS

  • Poor families needed there kids to work to survive
  • There were more kids in factories then adults
  • My favorite part is when it talked about the coal mines.

Summary
In the 1900's it was a lot different then now.Kids worked all day and night.Around the age of three kids started working. Many kids
lost hearing and fingers in spinning mills, and in coal mines kids fell down the chutes to the furnace and died. Most kids made more money then adults. In 1913 the Declaration of Dependence came and said kids under the age of 16 are not aloud to work.

My opinion of the book was Good because it showed how hard kids worked for there families.
