Map

Parallel lines
These lines are parallel, because they will never touch.

Perpendicular lines
These lines are perpendicular because they intersect.

Obtuse angle
This is an obtuse angle because the angle is greater then 90 degrees

Acute angle
This is an acute angle because it is less then 90 degrees.

Supplementary angle
When you add both angles it equals 180 degrees.

Circumference of a circle
The circumference of a circle is the distance around the circle.

Similar shapes
These shapes are similar because they are the same shape, but different sizes.

Parallelogram
This is a parallelogram because it has to pairs of parallel sides. (Pic got cut off)

Right angle
This is a right angle because it is exactly 90 degrees.

Line of symmetry
This is symmetrical, because you can cut it in half and each part would be the same.

Animal with a structure for defense.
The defense structure is the nail, because it can scratch people.

Vertebrate with wings
Birds are winged animals, birds are vertebrates because have a backbone.

Animal with fur
Dogs are mammals, and mammals have fur.

Simple machines used in every day life
A wheel is a simple machine used in every day life.

Cirrus cloud
Cirrus clouds are high up, and are thin and wispy clouds.

Dicot plant
Dicot plants have thick leaves, and have two cotyledons in the seed.

Monocot plant
Monocot plants are thin and have one cotyledon in their seeds.

Plant showing tropism
This plant is showing photo tropism. Phototropism is how a plant reacts to light. This plant turns towards the sunlight.

Seed from a plant
This plants came from a fruit. Most seeds have a protective coverings, this seeds protective covering is
a fruit.

Kinetic energy
Running is kinetic energy, because you are moving.

We learned math and science is used not only in school, but also in the real world. We learned that team work is important. We learned there are so many things in real life that we can compare to math and science.
