You will use protractors to measure angles and to draw your own angles. They are located in the math closet in a clear bun labeled "Protractors".

Rulers are used to measure length in inches or centimeters. If you need to measure a longer distance you might need a meter stick or a yard stick. These are found in the supply center in the bin labeled, "Rulers".

Meter sticks and yard sticks both measure longer distances. Meter sticks measure in centimeters and yard sticks measure in feet and inches. These are found in Mrs. Sicuranza's supply closet.

Calculators are not to be used unless you have Mrs. Sicuranza's permission. They are used to check our work and to do certain math procedures. You will find the calculators in the big purple bin in the supply area.

Base ten blocks can be very helpful for you to work out place value problems. You may use them anytime you need to. They are in the big clear bin back by the closets.
