To find out what the Players averages are, they must add every yard gained on each play. They then must divide that number by the amount of carry’s and that is how the get the average.

EXAMPLE

• Gained 5 yards
• Lost 3 yards
• Gained 10 yards
• Gained 2 yards
• Lost 5 yards

Then you add and subtract depending on wether he gained or lost yards.

0+5=5, 5-3=2, 2+10=12, 12+2=14, 14-5=9

Then divide. There were 5 plays, so divide by 5.
